Up on the land
View from our soon-to-be front porch.
Jack laying next to some (huge) 'cow patties', in the middle
of our soon-to-be house. (eventual back porch view)
It's pretty difficult to see, but if you look really close
you can find 4 branches sticking out of the ground. These are the corners of
our house. Starting small and the plan is to add on
a little bit at a time. Work should begin with in 2 weeks or so.
YIPPY!

David teaching art at one of the local schools
Setting up for class
First things first, let's make a color wheel and learn the
basics of color mixing...
Getting the primary colors down...then complimentary colors
Next, let's work on drawing/ painting a Still Life
of fruits and animals...
Looking on with encouragement...
Playground time...
A zoomed in shot, in case you didn't notice there
was a weight bench in the first photo. Classic!
(Mom, I think you'll have some clients when you come to visit)

David hikes up to the land with all 4 dogs (although you wouldn't know by the photos)
Koda and Pepe (background) seem to like their future home.
Just wait until we get the dog run fully equip...then
we'll be having some fun!

Beginning work on the land...
Starting to level the ground (of the main building site)
Jack, looking sharp in his handkerchief, supervising. Er, not.
You almost feel bad looking at this photo. We
promise that we will only add to the beauty of this land, not destroy it.
We have many plans for tons of trees, plants and vegetables around the property.
Luke, overseeing the construction
270 degree look from top of the property

View driving away from the property.

Cute Overload...take two
Sweeties
Koda on David's shoulders
Notice Marley's puffy lip and his not so happy
expression. We think he got bit by something.
Jack's doing his best to comfort him - too cute.
(FYI - the swelling went down the next day.)
Looks like someone's ready to be a dad - ha, only kidding.
Couldn't resist. If they let us do it, it'll be done.
Jack, Koda, and David
